What this page is for
Settings controls how Trade Sure works for your company. Only administrators can open it. Open More, then Settings. It opens on a page of groups. Inside a page, the tabs at the top show the other pages of that group, and All settings takes you back. Your own sign-in details are under My account, at the bottom of the left menu.

Send from your own address
Emails normally go from a Trade Sure address with your company name on them. Replies already go to your own address. You can make emails come from your own address instead, for example office@yourfirm.co.uk. You need your own domain; a Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo address cannot be used.
- Open Settings, then Documents and email. Find the card Send from your own address.
- Type the address you want emails to come from and press Set up. If the card says Trade Sure will finish this for you, wait for the notification, then come back.
- Sign in where you bought your domain (for example GoDaddy, 123-reg, Google Domains).
- Find the DNS settings. They may be called DNS records, Manage DNS or Advanced DNS.
- Add a TXT record. Press Copy next to Host and paste it into the Host (or Name) field. Do the same for Value.
- Add a CNAME record the same way.
- Save the records there, come back and press Check now. DNS can take up to 48 hours. Trade Sure checks every day and sends you a notification when both records are verified.
- From then on emails go from your own address. Press Stop using to go back to the Trade Sure address.
Change your password
- Open My account, change your password, and sign out of other devices if you need to.
- You can also connect Google sign-in from My account if it is switched on.
Use more than one account
- Open the account menu at the foot of the left menu (on a phone, open the menu first). In the narrow menu, press your initials.
- Press Add another account and sign in with the other email and password. If that login uses two-factor, type the code too.
- The menu now lists every account you are signed in to. In use marks the one you are using. Press Switch to change.
- Sign out next to an account signs out of that one only. The main Sign out signs out of the account in use, and the next one takes over.
- Sign out of all accounts signs out of every one of them. You can be signed in to 5 accounts at once.
- Engineers find the same list on the Me page of the phone app.
If something looks wrong
- You cannot see Settings: you need the admin role.
- A tab is missing: it belongs to a module that is off. Switch it on under Modules and plan.
- A number on a document is wrong: check the numbering under Documents and email.
